PowerSchool Communications Platform

San Angelo ISD utilizes PowerSchool for school-to-home communications from the district, campuses, and classrooms. PowerSchool allows our families to receive important messages through email, text, phone calls, and the PowerSchool Mobile app.
Families are automatically set up to receive communications using the contact information provided in their student’s enrollment form. Parents/guardians can also view messages and alerts by logging into the PowerSchool Parent Portal or using the PowerSchool Mobile app.
We encourage all parents/guardians to log into PowerSchool to make the most of its communication features:
- Update communication preferences to ensure you receive messages in the way that works best for you.
- Set language preferences for messages from the district, schools, and teachers.
- Access 2-way messaging with your student’s school and classrooms.
- Check grades
- Monitor attendance
PowerSchool Mobile App
The PowerSchool mobile app allows parents to monitor their children's academic progress and stay informed about school-related information. Parents can view grades, assignments, attendance, and school announcements. They can also receive real-time push notifications for updates on these areas.
